What is Aikido?
Aikido is dynamic and flowing Japanese martial art which focuses on harmony, and peace. Often described as “walking zen” or “moving meditation.”
Come observe (or participate) in an AKI Princeton class to experience the joy, community and the present moment.
Training Schedule.
No RSVP necessary. Simply “drop in” on any class to observe, or join-in with some comfortable workout gear. Try to arrive 15 minutes before classes start.

Aikido Kenkyukai Princeton is open to adults, and teens. All body types are welcome.

Matt Bridi
5th Dan, Chief Instructor
Matt Bridi began training in Aikido in 1993 under David Goldberg Sensei. In 1996, his training continued under Lia Suzuki Sensei in Santa Barbara.
Over 28 years, he has trained with many teachers influenced by Yamaguchi Shihan in Canada, the US, and Japan.

Marc Falzon
1st Kyu, Dojo-Cho
Marc Falzon began his training in 2007 under the Aikido World Alliance in Chicago, Illinois.
His training continued in Shenyang, China. Then Albuquerue, New Mexico, and ultimately in 2015 with AKI Los Angeles under Lia Suzuki Sensei.

AKI Princeton currently does not offer children classes. Our classes are for teens and adults.

Yes. Our beginner-focused Aikido classes will minimize injuries.

AKI Princeton focuses primarily on beginner Aikido fundamentals. These fundamentals are rooted in martial application.
